I tried something new with my crochet. If you’ve been hooking for a long time, this will be less than amazing. For me, though, this is a huge deal. Someone important to me just had a baby, and I wanted to do something extra special. She’s fun and funky and I really wanted to do something different and challenging.

I know the new baby is a boy, but I don’t care. He’s getting a rainbow blanket. I picked a rainbow pattern for a few reasons.
a. Rainbows are fucking awesome
b. He’s born in Hawaii, and this is the rainbow state
c. Look how cute it is!!

I’m so proud of myself for this one. It took me forever to make, and I smile every time I see it. Feast your eyeballs, my people!
